Club Hikari Records ist ein unabhängiges elektronisches Musikprojekt mit Sitz in Amsterdam. Guillaume ist die künstlerische Identität des niederländischen Komponisten und Produzenten Wilbert Kragten.

From Tokyo and Beirut to Amsterdam, Cape Town, Miami and the Mediterranean, every release begins somewhere. A place. A person. A memory. A language. The result is music designed not simply around genre, but around atmosphere and connection.

Albums like Antibes, Bayrut, Seoul, L'Été Manhattan, and Ceylon et Ciara each explore a different city, culture and emotional world — in French, Arabic, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese and English.

The Hikari Credo — a multilingual spoken word series in 21+ languages — sits at the heart of the project. Hikari means light. And light is energy.

What is Club Hikari Records?

Club Hikari Records is an independent electronic music project based in Amsterdam, created by Dutch composer and producer Wilbert Kragten under the artistic name Guillaume.

The project creates melodic house, cinematic deep house and downtempo electronica inspired by cities, cultures, languages and human connection. Its music frequently combines electronic production with multilingual voices, atmospheric storytelling and influences drawn from places around the world.

Club Hikari Records is also home to Hikari Credo, a multilingual spoken-word series exploring the idea that light is energy, expressed across more than 21 languages.

Who is Guillaume?

Guillaume is the artistic identity of Dutch composer and producer Wilbert Kragten and the creative force behind Club Hikari Records. Based in Amsterdam, his work combines electronic music with a long-standing fascination for cities, languages and cultures.

Rather than approaching each release as a variation on a single genre, Guillaume uses places and human experiences as creative starting points. The result moves between melodic house, deep house, downtempo and cinematic electronica while retaining a recognizable Club Hikari atmosphere.

The belief

At the heart of the project is a simple belief:

music brings people closer to one another.

When we connect, we understand each other.

When we understand each other, we respect each other.

And when we respect each other, we can love each other.

This philosophy became the foundation of “The Hikari Credo,” a multilingual spoken-word series exploring music, light, energy, and connection across cultures and borders.
