The Story
In the artist's words
This album is the sequel to Cape Town.
Where the first album told the story of a city filled with possibility, chance encounters, and the excitement of the unknown, this new chapter begins where that night ended.
At the center of the story is Nadine, a Cape Town girl whose confidence, warmth, and mystery embody the spirit of the Mother City itself. What began as a fleeting encounter with a French traveler beneath the lights of Long Street slowly evolves into something deeper, more intimate, and impossible to ignore.
The story unfolds across a single night and the morning that follows. It begins once again beneath the neon glow of Cape Town’s nightlife, where basslines roll through crowded dancefloors and strangers move together beneath flashing lights. But this time the focus is no longer on discovery. Nadine and her French lover have already found each other.
As the music deepens, so does their connection.
The dancefloor becomes their language. Every glance, every smile, every movement brings them closer together. Around them, the city continues to celebrate, but their world gradually narrows until only the rhythm, the lights, and each other remain.
As the hours pass, the energy shifts. Euphoric club moments give way to slower, deeper, more intimate spaces. The streets grow quiet. The ocean becomes audible again. Cape Town reveals a softer side as the night gives way to dawn and the excitement of attraction transforms into genuine connection.
The Atlantic is never far away. Ocean air drifts through open windows. Waves roll beneath the music. The mountain stands watch over a city where romance and possibility seem to exist in every corner.
Musically, the album continues the journey established in Cape Town while moving into warmer and more intimate territory. Melodic house grooves, French-touch rhythms, deep basslines, dreamy synthesizers, soft harmonies, and sunrise textures create a soundtrack that mirrors the evolution of the relationship itself.
If Cape Town was about the thrill of meeting someone, this album is about what happens when neither person wants the night to end.
A continuation of a summer romance. A celebration of intimacy. A soundtrack for the hours between midnight and morning.
Listen, stay awhile.
