Cairo 3AM

Cairo. 3AM

Four paths, thousands of miles apart, drawn together by a single hypnotic frequency. Cairo 3AM is a cinematic melodic deep house album rooted in Egypt, with Cairo at its heart. Rich Middle Eastern influences, atmospheric textures, and a warm dialogue between East and West carry a story of longing, discovery, and belonging.

The journey unfolds through walks in Cairo, unhurried evenings along the Nile, and Japanese cocktails at Megumi in Maadi. Conversations linger, footsteps find their rhythm, and the city slowly brings four souls together. Warm synth pads, delicate nay melodies, acoustic oud riffs, and deep, hypnotic grooves give each encounter its own shade.

Across eight tracks—Megumi, Sunrise Heart Touch, Mediterranean Dawn, Golden Light, Golden Horizon, Sous un même parapluie, Forever My Love, and Sous les étoiles—the album follows the changing light: a quiet morning, an afternoon walk, golden reflections on the river, and the anticipation of a night still unfolding.

At Megumi, cocktails and shared stories draw the evening closer. Outside, Cairo keeps moving. A walk becomes a reason to stay together a little longer; the Nile offers space to pause. Eventually, the night leads to a rooftop, where the air cools and everything settles into the quiet magic of 3 AM.

Intimate acoustic moments open into flowing organic house grooves. Beneath the stars, connection grows through small things: a glance across the table, laughter on the way home, a melody that stays with everyone.

When morning returns to Cairo, nothing needs to be explained. The walks, the river, and the hours spent together have become a shared memory—a feeling of arrival, and a place to belong.

A fusion of cultures. ميكس شرقي على غربي. A journey that teaches us how to listen. A story written one path at a time.

Ahlan wa Sahlan. Stay awhile.

Love, Guillaume
