二つのリズムのあいだ - 夜 began as a question rather than a plan: what does a place sound like once everyone has gone home? The first sketches were made without a tempo, only chords and a field recording, and everything that followed was an attempt to protect that first feeling.

02 / THE NIGHT & LOCATION

Streets still wet, shutters half down, the low hum of a city that never fully sleeps. The record keeps returning to that walk — neon smeared across the pavement, a taxi somewhere behind you, the light changing minute by minute.

03 / THE SOUND & PRODUCTION

Analog warmth over digital precision. Tape saturation, soft-clipped drums, long reverb tails allowed to run past the bar line. Nothing is quantised harder than it needs to be; the small timing errors are the point.

04 / THE MEMORY

In the end this is a memory record. It is not a documentary of a night, it is what the night became after a few months of remembering it — brighter in places, blurrier in others, and somewhere between memory and imagination.
