The Story
In the artist's words
SEOUL is a multilingual K-pop-inspired album that captures the feeling of returning to a city that never really left you.
At its core, the album follows four friends reconnecting in Seoul after years apart. Two stayed, two left - Paris and Dublin became new homes, new identities. What begins as a reunion quickly turns into something more layered: a weekend of rediscovery, where memories feel familiar, but the people don’t quite fit the same way anymore.
Set against the backdrop of neon-lit streets, late-night taxis, crowded tables, and quiet mornings by the Han River, SEOUL moves through the rhythm of the city - from arrival to nightlife to sunrise. The sound blends K-pop with melodic house, electronic, and club influences, shifting from energetic night beats to soft, reflective moments.
Language plays a central role. Korean leads every track, grounded in the present, while English, French, and Dutch appear throughout - not as translations, but as emotional layers. What one person says in one language doesn’t always mean the same in another. And that’s where the story lives.
Despite its themes of distance and change, SEOUL stays light, warm, and full of movement. It’s not about what was lost - it’s about what remains, even after time, cities, and silence.
A fusion of cultures. A celebration of the mysterious night. A space where everything lingers just a little longer.
Listen, stay awhile. Love, Guillaume
